For various locations across the Netherlands, Technische Unie has created Inspiration Centers designed to showcase, demonstrate, and combine their product range for customers. For IC Zwolle, the focus was placed on visualizing the journey toward increasingly sustainable installation solutions. The aim was to make the transition process tangible. Highlighting innovations, possibilities, and the steps installers can take toward a more energy‑efficient future.

Sustainability cannot be achieved overnight; it takes lots of small steps. Which explains the Technische Unie motto: 'Becoming sustainable step by step.' A step higher each time. This gave us an idea.
step by step
To depict ‘step by step’ in the design, we created a showroom with four spaces, each one higher than the preceding area. This created a design reminiscent of a staircase of steps.
A higher level
The result is an inspiration centre where the step-by-step process towards sustainability is expressed visually. So that the visitor can ‘get on board’ at any level.
